Yuta and Yoji were impressed with this Diaper cake. I guess it's a new trend for baby showers these days. Isn't it cute and useful?

今日はお友達が、赤ちゃん誕生前のベビーシャワーというお祝いパーティを主催してくれました。祐太とようじが一緒に写ってるケーキの用なものは、「ダイパーケーキ」と言って、最近のベビーシャワープレゼントとして流行っているものです。新生児用の紙おむつで出来ています。飾って可愛いし使えるし、良いアイデアですよね。

My friends came to the baby shower. Even though it was Mother's Day, so many friends showed up and I was simply overwhelmed with happiness.

今日来てくれたお友達、ようじ繋がりのお友達や、祐太が赤ちゃんのコロからのお友達、それに、祐太の野球チームをとして仲良くなったお友達が来てくれました。母の日にもかかわらず、こんなに来てくれて本当に有り難かったです。

Jiji came by. It was so nice to see him. Jeasie is on business trip and we missed her today. Yoji and Yuta got their birthday presents from Jiji and Jeansie. Yoji got this T-ball and new balls. Yuta got pitching net. Oh, I wish you can see how much they love it. They played for a long time even after Jiji left. Thank you so much for such awesome gifts!
とっても久しぶりに、ジジが遊びに来てくれました。ジンシーはプーケットへ出張中で来れなかったので残念でした。祐太と羊司はジジとジンシーからちょっと遅めの誕生日プレゼントを貰いました。ようじは写真にあるボールを乗せるティー。祐太はキャッチボールの練習用のネットです。二人とも大喜びでずーーーと遊んでいました。本当に野球が大好きな二人です。

Yoji's field day

Yoji's preschool had a field day. It was beautiful day and Yoji had a great time.
ようじの幼稚園で運動会がありました。とっても天気も良く、楽しそうで可愛かったです。

Birthday treats for school

Guess what these are? These Sushi look-a-like is actually sweets. Yuta, Yoji and I made these with rice crispy, gummy and fruit roll up. Hope Yuta's friends will like it.
祐太の学校は、お誕生日の日にピザやカップケーキを持って行って、お友達に一緒にお祝いしてもらうとのこと、こんなお菓子を作ってみました。お寿司っぽいでしょ？でも実は、シャリはライスクリスピー、お魚がグミ、海苔に見立てたフルーツロールアップという飴、それに鉄火巻きに見立てた、リコリッシュという飴なんです。作るのも楽しかったし、祐太もようじも大喜びでした。お友達が喜んでくれると良いなあ。

羊司は、かっこいいクゥイックシルバーのシャツと輪投げゲームを貰いました。こういうシャツ、ようじにとっても似合うでしょ？

Happiest smile

Bun, Karen, Kayla, Jack and Fenway gave Yuta a new Wii Little League Baseball game. Yuta is super happy! Thank you so much!
祐太はいとこ達から、新しいWiiのリトルリーグベースボールゲームを貰いました。とってもとっても嬉しそうでした。

Combined birthday

Since birthdays are close each other (Michael, Yoji, Yuta and myself), we had a combined birthday party at our home. We wanted to celebrate for Jenasie too but Ned and Jenasie could not make it. We had so much fun together. Our family is so awesome!
マイク、羊司、私、祐太のお誕生日が全部近いので、まとめてパーティしました。本当はジンシーもお誕生日なんだけど、マイクのパパとジンシーはどうしても来れなかったので、残念でした。近くに家族が居るって本当に幸せです！

Ice skate

Great Free event at Irvine Great Park! Kids were so excited!

アーバイン市がてこ入れしてるグレートパークで無料アイススケートがありました。「目指せNYのセントラルパーク」ってだけあって、いつ始まっていつ終わるか分からない壮大な計画なので、お金かけてます。マイクに「無料って言っても、税金使われてるから」って言われちゃいました。その通り！

Funny guy

Yoji  is pretending he is baby. He is always having fun. Such a happy child.

ようじはいつでも一人で楽しそうに遊んでいます。今日も、赤ちゃんのカーシーとを見つけて、あかちゃんごっこをしていました。しかし、大きくなったもんだ〜

Yuta's happiest day

Michael and Yuta were super lucky to get to go to a Nascar race in Fontana. Many many thanks to Bun for inviting them. Yuta was super happy and excited. After he got home, he could not stop talking about it.
マイクのお兄ちゃんが、祐太とマイクをナスカー観戦に連れて行ってくれました。フォックススポーツの関係者って事で、ピットの方まで入れたらしく、それはそれは楽しいひとときだったようです。

After long day

After the opening day, we were all very tired. Michael and Yoji fell asleep.

開幕式のこの日は、本当に長い一日でした。朝8時30分から午後3時すぎまで、ずーっと球場でした。あっちで試合、こっちで写真撮影、、、とまあ、忙しかった。帰ってくると、ようじもマイクもソファーでお昼ねしていました。

All Star

During the opening ceremony, Yuta was recognized as All-Star member. Their names were called and got line up in front of filed- full of people.

祐太は先シーズンオールスター選抜チームに選ばれてトーナメントに出ていました。そのオールスターチームがチャンピオンになったので、その事が讃えられて、開幕式中に表彰されました。軽く2000人以上は居るところで、名前を呼ばれて前に出たのですが、とても誇らしそうな姿が可愛かったです。

Yuta is in Rockies and Michael is assistant coach for both teams. Wow! Go Michael!

Baseball season has started! Yoji plays in team first time too. He is in Angels.

野球のシーズンが始まりました。ようじもチームに入りました。エンジェルスです！

Yammy = Happy

I baked chocolate chip roll. It came out so soft and yammy that Yuta and Michael ate couple after the dinner.
チョコチップ入りのパンを焼いてみました。とっても美味しく出来て、夕食後にも関わらず、マイクと祐太はペロっと食べていました。美味しい物を食べると幸せになるよね〜

Yoji is a catcher

Michael and I gave Yoji baseball stuff for his birthday. He loves his new Catcher mask most.
私とマイクからのお誕生日プレゼントは野球の道具でした。一番気に入ってるのはもちろんキャッチャーマスク。籠を顔に引っ掛けてまねっこするくらい、キャッチャーのまねが大好きだったので、大当たりのプレゼントでした。

New bike

Some of Yoji's friends got together for birthday present. They gave him this new bike. So awesome.

お友達の何人から合同のプレゼントとして、カーズの自転車を貰いました。かっこいいでしょ？
