YES! I DID IT!

Yuta loves LEGO. Tonight he started to make one of the largest pices he has. He usued to get upset when he could not put the picese together correctly but he was doing great tonight. He didn't get upset even once and he compreated without our help. Wonderful!

祐太はレゴが大好きです。大好きなんだけど、うまく出来ないとイライラして怒るので、私はいつも心の中で「だったらやらなきゃ良いじゃん」って思っちゃうんだけど、今日の祐太はすごかった。かなり数が多いヘリコプターを一度もイライラせずに、一人で最後までやりきりました。かなり満足だったみたい。私もこんなの作る根気あるかな？？？って思っちゃったもの。ご立派！

Yuta's favorite girl

Yuta is happy to be in a apicture with his firend Julia. She is Yuta's favorite girl from his school. Becuase Yuta likes her very much, we went to see her dance rehearsal. She is sooooooooo cute, isn't she?

祐太の学校のお友達のジュリアちゃんとのツーショット。祐太はジュリアちゃんが大好きで、 是非バレーの発表会を見たいというので、リハーサルを見に行ってきました。ところが、リハーサルは予定よりも早く始まっちゃって、見れなかったの。祐太が残念がっていました、、、（可愛いよね）

普段は超テレちゃって、ふざけちゃう祐太が、ちゃんとツーショットの写真に収まったのでびっくり！

Love this park !

We went to Echo Run Park with Yuta's school friends. They love this park so much.

祐太の学校のお友達とエコランパークへ行きました。この公園は、近隣に住む人専用の鍵がないと入れない公園で、小さな子供の自転車用に公園がデザインされています。ちょっとした丘やトンネルがあったり、信号やガスステーションもどきがあったりと、とても楽しい公園です。夏の間陽射しが強いときはこの公園が最高！大きな木がたくさんあるので、日陰になっていて涼しいのです。

And of course our Yoji is the funny one in the family. He climbed into the Volvo's trunk and gave us a big smile.

羊司は知ってのとおり、皆といつも笑わせてくれるひょうきんもの。帰る支度をしていると、車のトランクの中によじ登って、大喜びで最高の笑顔を見せてくれました。

In the middle of the nature walk trail, there was a big spot of old oak trees. Yuta and Yoji smile with their best friends Braedon and Anna.

ハイキングの途中にはこんな感じの樫の木の森がありました。仲良しのブレードンとアナ兄妹と。

We went for a nature walk. It was a lot of fun but we had to watch out for patches of poison oak!

一泊した翌朝、皆でハイキングへ行きました、これは古い風車。ここで昔は牛が放牧されていたそうです。

アメリカのキャンプといえば、スモア！って言うくらい定番のキャンプのデザートを堪能中の祐太。このデザートはキャンアンプファイアーで焼いたマシュマロをグラハムクラッカーと板チョコで挟んだデザートです。some more please（もっと頂戴！）って子供が言うので、smores（スモアーズ）っていう名前がついたそうです。

Yoji having a lot of FUN

This was Yoji's first time camping. He enjoyed it so much. He got very dirty soon after this picture and he played non-stop until very late at night.

ようじにとって、初めてのキャンプ。とっても楽しかったみたいで、真っ黒になりながら遊んでいました。祐太達にまじって、遅くまでずーっと一緒に遊んでいたんですよ。

Casper Wilderness Park

We went camping for the first time this year, with the Steiner family. Per Yuta's request, we did "Watermelon cracking" which is a traditional Japanese summer activity. Yuta hit the watermelon right in the middle and split it into two pieces.

父の日の週末、幼馴染のブレードンの一家、スタイナー家と今年初めてのキャンプに行って来ました。祐太にとって二回目。ようじには初めてのキャンプでした。祐太のリクエストでスイカ割りもしました！
