Ice skate

Great Free event at Irvine Great Park! Kids were so excited!

アーバイン市がてこ入れしてるグレートパークで無料アイススケートがありました。「目指せNYのセントラルパーク」ってだけあって、いつ始まっていつ終わるか分からない壮大な計画なので、お金かけてます。マイクに「無料って言っても、税金使われてるから」って言われちゃいました。その通り！

Funny guy

Yoji  is pretending he is baby. He is always having fun. Such a happy child.

ようじはいつでも一人で楽しそうに遊んでいます。今日も、赤ちゃんのカーシーとを見つけて、あかちゃんごっこをしていました。しかし、大きくなったもんだ〜

Yuta's happiest day

Michael and Yuta were super lucky to get to go to a Nascar race in Fontana. Many many thanks to Bun for inviting them. Yuta was super happy and excited. After he got home, he could not stop talking about it.
マイクのお兄ちゃんが、祐太とマイクをナスカー観戦に連れて行ってくれました。フォックススポーツの関係者って事で、ピットの方まで入れたらしく、それはそれは楽しいひとときだったようです。

After long day

After the opening day, we were all very tired. Michael and Yoji fell asleep.

開幕式のこの日は、本当に長い一日でした。朝8時30分から午後3時すぎまで、ずーっと球場でした。あっちで試合、こっちで写真撮影、、、とまあ、忙しかった。帰ってくると、ようじもマイクもソファーでお昼ねしていました。

All Star

During the opening ceremony, Yuta was recognized as All-Star member. Their names were called and got line up in front of filed- full of people.

祐太は先シーズンオールスター選抜チームに選ばれてトーナメントに出ていました。そのオールスターチームがチャンピオンになったので、その事が讃えられて、開幕式中に表彰されました。軽く2000人以上は居るところで、名前を呼ばれて前に出たのですが、とても誇らしそうな姿が可愛かったです。

Yuta is in Rockies and Michael is assistant coach for both teams. Wow! Go Michael!

Baseball season has started! Yoji plays in team first time too. He is in Angels.

野球のシーズンが始まりました。ようじもチームに入りました。エンジェルスです！

Yammy = Happy

I baked chocolate chip roll. It came out so soft and yammy that Yuta and Michael ate couple after the dinner.
チョコチップ入りのパンを焼いてみました。とっても美味しく出来て、夕食後にも関わらず、マイクと祐太はペロっと食べていました。美味しい物を食べると幸せになるよね〜

Yoji is a catcher

Michael and I gave Yoji baseball stuff for his birthday. He loves his new Catcher mask most.
私とマイクからのお誕生日プレゼントは野球の道具でした。一番気に入ってるのはもちろんキャッチャーマスク。籠を顔に引っ掛けてまねっこするくらい、キャッチャーのまねが大好きだったので、大当たりのプレゼントでした。

New bike

Some of Yoji's friends got together for birthday present. They gave him this new bike. So awesome.

お友達の何人から合同のプレゼントとして、カーズの自転車を貰いました。かっこいいでしょ？

Many friends

There were many friends at the party. It was about 20 kids and 25 adults! Wow.

本当は公園でやる予定でしたが天気が悪かったので、近くのピザ屋さんで行いました。なんと子供20人、大人25人くらい！

Happy Birthday Yoji

We had a birthday party with Yoji's friends. I made my signature banana siphon cake. yummy!

ようじのお友達を招待して、お誕生日パーティをしました。今回も、バナナシフォンケーキを手作りしました。

Yoji made Mochi (pounded sweet rice) at his preschool.

ようじは幼稚園で、おもちつきをしました。可愛かった〜

Yoji's wish

Yoji did calligraphy at his preschool. He was told to write his wish for this year. He wrote "Surfing" . (His is on top)

We went to San Diego Zoo with my mom. It's always a lot of fun at the zoo!

お母さんも一緒にサンディエゴ動物園へ行きました。ここの動物園はとっても広くって、パンダも居ます。

The Bunnells and the Oshimas

We visited Ned and Jeansie with my parents. My parents were simply amazed how beautiful their house is.
